Apostle Johnson Suleman prophesied concerning the Akwa Ibom state governorship elections coming up next year with the primaries set to begin in a month's time. The clergy prophesied that the proceedings in the state will be so tough that even the sitting Governor will not be able to impose any candidate on the people. According to him, Udom Emmanuel will not pick the ticket but will be given an appointment due to controversies in Abuja. Speaking during his two day crusade in Uyo, the preacher sighted previous circumstances where he had to prophecy in Ghana and Sierra Lone about who will take over as the countries' presidents as references. None of his predictions failed according to him.
He went ahead to decry the excessive glory given to Governor Godswill Akpabio by people saying that God might get angry and react to it. He said that members of the clergy in the state were the most prominent in this list of offenders. The general overseer of Omega Fire Ministry said people should learn from how God reacted when men started praising Herod the king.
